Travelers with reduced mobility
All our landing stages are wheelchair-accessible, with the exception of our landing stages of the river cruise (Storchen, Limmatquai, Bürkliplatz landing stage 6, Zürichhorn and Bellevue). Members of the crew are happy to help you board and leave the boat.
All our ships can only provide access for wheelchairs, pushchairs, etc. up to a maximum of 80 metres due to the limited boarding width.
The e-Limmat boats are also wheelchair-accessible, but boarding and alighting is only possible at the Landesmuseum station. Only a limited number of folded pushchairs can be transported on the Limmat boats.
Passengers with reduced mobility and resident in Switzerland can apply for a «Companion travelcard». This entitles the holder to be accompanied by a travelling companion and/or guide dog free of charge.
Dogs
Small dogs may be carried in bags, baskets, etc. free of charge. In all other cases, the reduced 2nd class fare must be paid.
Safety on the lake
When swimming in the lake, the following rules must be observed to prevent accidents between swimmers and passenger boats.
- Passenger boats must not be approached. We recommend a minimum distance of 50 metres.
- Swimming within 100 metres of harbour entrances and moorings is prohibited.
- When swimming in the lake, wear a clearly visible swimming cap or take a buoy with you. This will make it easier for the skippers to see you.
Together with the Zurich city police, we have produced a short information film to help you stay safe on Lake Zurich.
Rules
- Do not travel 1st class with a 2nd class ticket
- Smoking is not permitted in the interior of the boat
- Noise annoyance and begging not permitted
- Insults, threats or violence against staff will lead to prosecution
- Please sit down or hold on during the ride
- Climbing on benches, chairs and railing is not allowed
- No entry with swimwear

A table reservation is only possible in connection with a food order. Thank you for your understanding.

Passenger rights
Unforeseen events and delays in shipping cannot always be avoided. From 1 January 2021, passengers will therefore receive compensation if they arrive at their destination 60 minutes or more late. This regulation applies to all public transport in Switzerland.
Smoking on board
Smoking is only permitted on outside decks. We kindly ask you to use the ashtrays and not to throw the cigarette butts into the lake.
