Organization
The Lake Zurich Navigation Company is a limited company structured in accordance with Swiss private law. It has a share capital of CHF 11 million, divided into 110,000 registered shares with a nominal value of CHF 100.
The shareholders comprise the following:
The Annual Meeting is the supreme organ of the company. It takes place on the last Monday in June. The duties and competences of the Annual Meeting and the participation rights of the shareholders are stipulated in the company statutes.
The Board of Directors is responsible for the company's strategic priorities and planning. The management is responsible for carrying out all the day-to-day business of the company.
Since 1990 the Lake Zurich Navigation Company has been integrated into the Zurich Public Transport Association and as such is one of its eight market-responsible companies.
